Julián decide abandonarlo todo y emprender un viaje sin destino. Diez años después regresa en busca de su pasado y encuentra a María, la que una vez fuera su mujer, acompañada de Santiago, un escritor en quien ella ha encontrado un refugio. La llegada de Julián le da un nuevo e inesperado rumbo a la vida de los tres.
