Aunque la mayoría de las canciones son más cortas, este álbum también viene equipado con temas épicos y aplastantes. Por tercera vez en la historia de la banda, EXODUS volvió a recurrir al artista sueco Par Olofsson para crear el arte del álbum PERSONA NON GRATA. Trabajando desde tres estudios caseros, la banda grabó PERSONA NON GRATA ellos mismos con la ayuda de Andy Sneap en la mezcla y masterización y con Steve Lagudi al frente de la ingeniería.
