Sky Sharks es una película dirigida por Marc Fehse (Sex, Dogz and Rock n Roll) y escrita junto a A. D. Morel que cuenta la historia de un grupo de geólogos que viaja al Ártico para descubrir un laboratorio que utilizaban los nazis en los últimos días de la Segunda Guerra Mundial para realizar experimentos. Al encontrar el laboratorio, por accidente los geólogos activan el último experimento de los nazis: tiburones modificados genética y tecnológicamente. Los tiburones causan el caos y un grupo especializado debe frenarlos con armas si no quieren que toda la situación se convierta en un gran desastre con repercusiones terribles.

Two boys (Ken Duken and Luca Verhoeven) try to get into the Munich Disco "Spy", but Dennis, the chief of Disco doesn't allow them to enter the club. This is the whole story - believe it or not, but director and writer Simon Verhoeven made a movie with a runtime of 88 Minutes based on this story. Low budget, but great fun. Nice pictures of Munich, good and intelligent ideas (Floh and Marcel are playing football, while Werner Hansch, a famous german TV-Sport-Presenter, reports their game to the audience)make the movie worth to be seen. Not a revolution, but, as said, it's fun.

Dos jóvenes enfermos terminales dedicen vivir con intensidad y alocamiento sus últimos días, saltándose todas las normas. La historia narrada combina de modo singular drama y comedia. Y presenta situaciones muy disparadas, que provocan la risa. Aunque los anhelos más íntimos de los protagonistas se revelan limitados -ver el mar, que uno de ellos no conoce-, el alemán Thomas Jahn logra impregnarlos de entidad dramática. Esta atrevida película ganó el premio a la mejor película en el festival de Sitges de 1997.
