Diego, Fausto y Claudio son tres cuarentones insatisfechos, que huyendo de la ciudad y de sus propias vidas, se juntan en la empresa de abrir un casa de turismo rural. A ellos se les unirá Sergio, un cincuentón comunista, y Elisa, una joven embarazada y a la que le falta un tornillo. Pero su sueño se obstaculizará con la llegada de Vito, un camorrista que viene a cobrar el "pizzo".
