Mariam
Mariam lives in a remote Armenian village where there are no men. On her birthday, her hopes of having a reunited family are shattered, but she must put aside her own crushed dreams and build up her friend Anush's hopes of an idyllic life as she embarks into motherhood.
Twist
Apartment, acting both as a prison and a mirror for a person, becomes the subject of an ongoing moving still life. A permanently rotating camera gives the viewer a 360 degree view of an apartment and observes the relationships that are a part of a modern family in a conservative society. Twist is a film about people, who live together for years in a lie hiding their sexual orientation and how this lie destroys everything in one instant.
