After a life-altering revelation while tripping on psychedelic mushrooms, comedian Byron Bowers stumbles straight from the desert into the Decatur Boxing Club, to deliver an intimate set in his hometown Atlanta. Byron talks about his long journey to his first comedy special, the stigma of mental health, and how tripping on mushrooms made him understand his schizophrenic father and altered the way he feels about his Blackness.

Otis es un niño de 12 años que descubre desde muy joven la fama de Hollywood. Su padre es un antiguo payaso de rodeo con diversos problemas, ahora sin trabajo, que decide convertirse en su guardián. Cuando Otis no está divirtiendo a un selecto público pasa el rato con él en hoteles de poca monta situados en las afueras de las ciudades a las que acude a grabar. La convivencia entre ambos es muy compleja: Otis se ve obligado a sufrir sus abusos mientras ambos intentar dar sentido a una relación que se reproduce en el tiempo a lo largo de más de una década.

The muses are heard. YO! MY SAINT is a three-pronged artistic endeavor incorporating music, film, and fashion. It’s not just a song, or a film, or clothes. It’s a project, and the culmination of creativity erupting from KENZO’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Linking them altogether is the underlying theme of muses – honoring, celebrating, and re-imagining the instigators and inspirations of creativity.

Through Lyonne’s surrealist eye, the lead character learns to reconcile with her Vaudevillian past in order to step into her life more fully. We witness Chastity’s journey through the eloquence of incoherence. It's about the illusion of significance in a surreal, unjust and often unintelligible world, yet finding meaning within it and retaining a form of hope in despite of it. Chastity finds an uncompromising way of realizing reality is a kind of absurdity.
