We're Here for a Fish Fry! takes another look at the Wisconsin Friday fish fry tradition from the peak season of Lent to summer lakefront dining featuring different types of fish including cod, perch, bluegill, haddock and smelt as well as a trip on a commercial fishing boat in the bay of Green Bay, a fish fry pizza and all-you-can-eat buffets.
The Friday night fish fry has been a Wisconsin family tradition for many years. It happens all year long, not only during Lent when Catholics don't eat meat on Fridays. "Fish Fry Night Milwaukee" is a film that takes you to some of Milwaukee's most popular, historic and unique fish fry places, to see the people who make them and enjoy them.
