Tamara, in order to find her son, who was kidnapped during the riots, hires an escaped prisoner, Brayuk, a former interrogator. Brayuk agrees to help for money. But his methods prove harsh and Tamara does not accept Brayuk's methods, while he is alien to Tamara's ideas. They decide to find the boy together, and in this, perhaps, is the answer.
