Born in Awajishima, Hyogo in 1949, Henrik Terayama, also known as Henrik Morisaki, is a former collaborator and alumni of renowned playwright and filmmaker Shuji Terayama and his theater troupe Tenjo Sajiki, which he joined at the age of 17. After Shuji Terayama's death, in 1991 he joined the Terayama family registry and posthumously became Shuji Terayama's younger brother. He has worked as a playwright, filmmaker and designer and collaborated with various famous names of the angura scene such as Nobuyoshi Araki and Yamada Isao.
