The studious Janka has her own unrequited love with married history teacher Jakab—who had a previous confrontation with Abel’s conservative father. The tensions of a polarised society come unexpectedly to the surface when Abel’s history graduation exam turns into a national scandal.

A psychologist and a painter interpret the works of young autistic people at an exhibition opening. Their conversation seems to target the abstract paintings, however, their real topic is the elusive and constantly changing dynamics of their relationship. While they walk through the gallery, it becomes clear, that they have as many difficulties talking about their feelings, as the artists themselves.
Liza is waiting in vain, as Gabor will be not coming home that night. The next day Liza tells him the big news, but Gabor doesn’t react the way as she expected. It could be a turning point in their relationship, and maybe it is.
