Es verano en un pequeño pueblo del sureste de España. Una tormenta amenaza con volver a desbordar el río que lo atraviesa. Una vieja creencia popular afirma que algunas mujeres están predestinadas a desaparecer con cada nueva inundación porque tienen "el agua adentro". Ana (Luna Pamies) vive con su madre (Bárbara Lennie) y con su abuela (Nieve de Medina) en una casa a la que el resto del pueblo mira con suspicacia. En medio de la atmósfera eléctrica que precede a la lluvia, Ana conoce a José (Alberto Olmo) a la vez que lucha por aventar a los fantasmas.

He turns to the figures in the shadows of the Socialist Party, in the forefront of which is Julien Dray known as the “Baron Noir”. Through anecdotes and firsthand accounts of those who spent time in the highest spheres of the French state since 1981, Mathieu Sapin attempts to answer the big question: “who killed the French left?”.

Forgotten political fights appear and disappear with the fever's hallucinations. Then, new fights, the Arab spring of Morocco, flood the past.

Five people with contrasting profiles compete for a position within Matsuika, a multinational corporation recently set up in Morocco. Following an interview with the C.E.O., they are advised to undertake a mysterious test in a secret location. It will determine who will hold the position. All five applicants accept and are led into a distressing bus with no windows. After endless driving, an accident occurs with the candidates trapped in the wreck. Thanks to a joint effort, they manage to evacuate the bus only to find themselves lost in the desert with their driver nowhere to be found. They start to wander, questioning the nature of the accident. Is it part of the test? Despite their will to survive and an urge to find clues, mirages of their most intimate fears begin to haunt them.
