Following an act of violence, two loving sisters plan to take revenge on the unconvicted perpetrator and find themselves being pulled deeper and deeper into the darkest areas of their minds. As they are constantly confronted with their fears, they must figure out if the decision to take the law into their own hands can be the answer to their pain.
"Fish Out Of Water" tells the story of a young father who gets the chance to spend a weekend with his five-year-old son Louis after not having been allowed to see him for a while. Michi's cluelessness is met by his son Luis´ curiosity and childish candour, and Michi slowly grows into his role as a father.
A young man lies sleeplessley in bed. It's late, thoughts are spinning in his head. He's too tired to fall asleep. Various scenarios are popping up in his mind, being turned around and mixed with doubt. Finally he seems to break the dark circle. And now? Does everything start all over again? Human beings are often standing in their own way. Too many doubts block you and prevent you from advancing, developing. What is going on in your head when faced with a decision, torn between two contrary emotions? As long as you don't make a decision, you can not lose. And neither win. You stand still.
