Verónica
Ana, Verónica, Marta, and Toro are four lonely people who live an unadventurous and quiet existence in southern Chile. They are with each other without the need of using words, trying to save themselves in a stealthy and extreme way. In order not only of getting away of the loneliness that constitutes their innermost core, but also of finding themselves, they reach for each other to get brotherly and sexual love, affection, and a space and time of their own.
Diez segmentos se entrelazan por una idea primaria: la evocación de las antiguas imágenes registradas en los comienzos de la historia del cine. La música entra en juego como protagonista exclusivo llevando así a la contemplación absoluta, el dejarse llevar, la idea de viaje: el trance. Un viaje en auto, una caminata sobre un puente, interiores a la luz de una vela, los aromas del bosque, los objetos cotidianos, el devenir de un río, un viaje en tren, una estación distante, colores vivos, grises, el ruido, la calma. Poco importan las formas si se sabe escuchar.
