Isabel imparte clases, investiga y limpia en la misma universidad británica. Su historia se presenta como un ejemplo de la creciente precarización del trabajo universitario y sus consecuencias humanas. Filmado durante las huelgas del personal universitario del Reino Unido entre 2018 y 2020, este documental expone la realidad poco conocida del precariado académico y contribuye al debate público en curso sobre los efectos de las políticas neoliberales, y ahora también el covid-19, en la educación superior británica.
