Magdalena tells her dream to Tomás: in this one, she drowns in the deep blue sea while he greets her from the shore. On the verge of the birth of their first child, this couple makes a final trip. That dream, and the weekend spent on the beach, would mark the end of the relationship.

En un país latinoamericano con una estricta dictadura Arístides, un preso político, logra escapar de la cárcel junto a otro fugitivo, y ambos tratan de huir mientras el sanguinario guardián Zancho y su violento perro le persiguen. Uno de los fugitivos, un viejo profesor, tiene información demasiado importante que no puede llegar a manos de los grupos opositores al gobierno.
