Ummer in the lead roles. The film has musical score by M. S. Viswanathan. It was a remake of the 1973 Tamil film Pennai Nambungal.

Diraviyam under Vijaya Films banner, had musical score by T. Chalapathi Rao and was released on 21 April 1961.
