Pero para disfrutar sus vacaciones tienen que realizar el test infernal hecho por el Baron Omatsuri.Pero la isla tiene un secreto. El test infernal sirve para separar y hacer que los piratas rivalizen entre si rompiento su espiritu de compañerismo.Monkey D Luffy y sus nakama tendran que sufrir el test infernal y poco a poco ver como se separan entre si.

Luffy y la tripulación llegan al puerto de Anabaru. El casino local patrocina una competición en la que el ganador obtendrá una enorme recompensa monetaria si él alcanza la línea de llegada primero. Nami esta eufórica y decide participar en la competición. Sin embargo, hay una conspiración que esta tras la competición y el cerebro es un comandante ex-militar, Gasparde. Su plan es de atraer a todos los piratas a la base militar y enviarles a la muerte. Luffy y sus compañeros tienen que vencer numerosas pruebas y tribulaciones a lo largo de esta aventura para completar este callejón sin salida.
