Un grupo de jóvenes Maasai, en una remota región de Kenia, han formado un equipo de cricket. Para ellos el deporte está relacionado con sus técnicas de caza tradicionales y sus túnicas rojas al vuelo dibujan una estampa impresionante. El equipo persigue el sueño de ir a Inglaterra, la cuna del cricket, y participar en el Last Man Stands World Championship. Pero este no es el único objetivo del equipo de críquet de los Warriors, se está tratando de educar a los jóvenes para acabar con la mutilación genital femenina, una práctica aún vigente entre los Maasai.

Amar, Akbar & Tony follows the lives and loves of three childhood friends through twists and turns as the characters face sudden and unforeseen changes to their idealistic and trouble-free young lives.
