Con el fin de cortar y descubrir unas infiltraciones de armas pasadas de contrabando, Javier, capitán de la Guardia Civil, se finge jornalero en La Bravía, una finca situada en la frontera y en zona sospechosa. Una noche, Javier está a punto de conseguir su cometido, pero matan a su compañero. Sigue al caballo del agresor y descubre que entra en la propiedad de Julio Rodríguez, vecino de La Bravía.
