El camino de Oregón
Brizzard
En 1846, una caravana de colonos se dirige hacia Oregón. El viaje será largo y lleno de penalidades. El reportero Neal Harris (MacMurray), enviado por su periódico para investigar si es cierto el rumor de que el Presidente James Polk está enviando a Oregón soldados disfrazados de pioneros, cae en manos de los indios, pero es liberado por una nativa llamada Shona (Gloria Talbott) y consigue llegar a tiempo para advertir a la guarnición de Fort Laramie del inminente ataque de los pieles rojas. He and the wounded outlaw leave and try to steal a stagecoach as their ex-gang robs it. The sheriff's daughter observes the incident. Believing that the two outlaws were trying to save the stage, she takes them into town where the "heroes" are given jobs working for the stage.
