Sergio, un chico tímido y torpe, consigue empleo como representante comercial de una editorial especializada en publicaciones musicales, pero no vende nada, y es el menos productivo de su empresa. Así que recurre a la más productiva, Nadia, un torbellino de chica para hacer una jornada juntos y aprender. Pero Nadia se retrasa a la cita y confunde a Sergio con el cliente al que esperaban. El cliente, un millonario mitómano, se lo llevaron esposado un rato antes, pero a Sergio le dio tiempo a conocerlo, y fascinado por su personalidad, la adopta suya al conocer a Nadia.
