A space pirate from the distant Barracuda galaxy, possessing amazing superpowers, comes to Earth. To escape the punishment of harsh cosmic law, the alien takes on the guise of a quiet schoolboy, Mitya, and begins searching for a repeater left on Earth in time immemorial to send a distress signal to his team. He accidentally saves the girl Christina, who is being bullied by her classmates, and finds himself in the same company with the young hooligan and bully Kolya. Now their common task is not only to escape from their alien snake-people pursuers, but also to defuse a bomb that could destroy the entire solar system! But in order to save the Earth, you first have to understand that only friendship and self-sacrifice can resolve problems on a galactic scale.

Is the miserable life of a loser worth that kind of money? Moreover, he will never be able to return them. But debt must be received at all costs, for Edik it is a matter of principle, forgiving others is not in his rules. Edik decides that Petrovich will work for him for free, he has every right to do so, because he is a real master of life. Or does he only think so, and everything can change at any second and turn over exactly the opposite?

El protagonista, Vlad, es un hombre de unos cuarenta años; vive y trabaja como vigilante en un viejo sanatorio que va a ser demolido. Evidentemente, necesita este trabajo para llevar una vida de ermitaño. Una noche aparece en el sanatorio un matrimonio: Vera y Stas. Están huyendo. Son perseguidos por antiguos amigos y socios de Stas. Vlad decide ayudarles, porque él también se esconde del pasado. Cada uno de los personajes se ve amenazado con el inevitable pago por las malas decisiones tomadas en el pasado, pero ayudándose mutuamente, intentan expiar esas faltas.
