En el instituto John Hughes los chicos son como cualquier adolescente en cualquier otra peli de adolescentes. El chico deportista y popular apuesta con Austin, el rubito guapo, a que es capaz de transformar a Janey, la fea del colegio, en la reina del baile de fin de curso. Pero dos maquiavélicas compañeras intentarán que Jake pierda la apuesta: su hermana Catherine y Priscilla, la jefa de las animadoras. El resto de la pandilla tampoco es muy distinta a la de cualquier otra película de adolescentes americana. Y claro; los alumnos del instituto viven un curso lleno de fiestas, diversión, alcohol y sexo.

A former child show host misses the good old days. He and his sidekick from the show are doing a gig when the place gets robbed and the sidekick murdered. The host is the only one who saw the robber well so the robber goes after him.

When his father - who owned a circus - dies, Oscar inherits 5 million dollars - and 3 orang outangs. However there's a condition connected to the money: if he gives away the apes or just one gets sick or dies during the next 3 years, the zoologic society will get all the money. So he not only has to deal with 3 apes and an annoyed girlfriend, but also with a greedy zoologic society's president.
