Angelo, un joven que con gran esfuerzo ha logrado salir de la pobreza, y Alberto, un guionista de éxito, se hacen amigos en la sala de urgencias de un hospital después de sufrir un infarto y llegan a compenetrarse de un modo absolutamente inexplicable dadas sus diferencias. Grandfather Alcide is given a surprise party by his many relatives. He, however, dies of a heart attack.
