Trudie es una joven y apuesta rubia de 27 años, está presionada por sus padres, pues desean que tenga un buen puesto como ejecutiva de ventas y que por fin se case con su novio Nick, a quien aun no conocen. Su madre aprovecha la víspera de navidad, para formalizar la relación. Pero con lo que no contaba Trudie, es que justo ese día, terminaría su relación con Nick. Entonces, Trudie, decide secuestrar a David, un chico apuesto, que estaba en el restaurante donde trabaja.
