Un nuevo médico llega a un pequeño pueblo español. Tan pronto como comienza a conocer gente allí, nota el extraño comportamiento de la población y se sorprende. Los jóvenes se burlan de él, un hombre llamado Gonzalo parece ser algún tipo de líder, y se le invita a abandonar el pueblo cuando trata de preguntar sobre la situación.
