When five prisoners are locked in a room, and are unable to communicate as none of them speak the same language, the situation is intensified when the haunting stone altar in the centre of the room demands a sacrifice. However, once one is selected and disposed of, this occupant is replaced, and in time a new choice of sacrifice must be made. In a dog-eat-dog environment, where might equals right and disunity abounds, can any of the room's occupants find a way to salvation?
