Un thriller a ritmo de hip-hop, GOLPEA O MUERE cuenta la historia del detective privado "Rad" McCrae (Duane Martin) y su socia, Lisa (Vivica A. Fox), quienes intentan encontrar al asesino de un amigo de la infancia de Rad, Benjamin (el rapero Jadakiss), un rapero con un futuro prometedor que, según la versión de la policía, se ha suicidado. Cuando conoce a la mujer de Benji, Rad se convence de que su amigo ha sido asesinado, y jura encontrar al asesino para vengar su muerte. La investigación de Rad y Lisa les lleva hasta el mundo del hip-hop, donde descubren una red de tráfico de drogas y violencia que pudo haber provocado la muerte de Benji.

Book of Love delivers humor along with the mysteries of unrequited love and relationships gone bad. The film's story line focuses on three men living, dating and loving in Los Angeles in the 90's. They struggle with heartbreak and insecurity as a result of failed relationships. The three characters’ stories unfold through sessions with their therapist – sessions that are often as comedic as they are insightful.
