Wong Man-Shing

Change of Gangster’ (转型团伙) is a Chinese gangster comedy directed by Francis Ng. The film centres around an actor who is injured in a shooting accident and wakes up believing he is a triad boss. The cast includes Francis Ng, Qiao Shan, Feynman Ng, and Wen Song.

Ka-shing has lived his entire life as a luckless guy, until one day he is offered a job by Spring, a gang brother. Spring is a gambler, and turns Ka-shing's bad luck into a Philosopher's Stone. The ky man, Priest Geing-fax was the ex-disciple of Shaolin Temple. He had learnt the highest level of Shaolin Kung-fu "Bone Marrow Revitalization Mehod" in which made him become invulnerable. Out of his griev-ances towards Shaolin, he sweared to eliminate all its adherents, especially Hung. Never and ever had Hung met such a formidable man before, however, he still accepted this lethal duel in the name of Po Chi Lam despiting the fact that he was really at the death's door.

Undercover cop Lok Hwa takes two years to become the trusted lieutenant of rising Hong Kong drug lord, Feng. The night of the big bust, Feng's flaming car crashes spectacularly into the sea; Feng is presumed dead. Hwa returns to the force and to June, his patient girl friend. Also, to save Feng's lover Yung from a life of crime, Hwa gives her his pager number and promises to be there for her. A year later, Feng reappears, asking Hwa's aid with one last task before he returns to the mainland forever. Feeling sentimental, Hwa agrees to help and finds himself set up to take the fall in a drug war. June is in danger, too, and death awaits as Yung realizes it's Hwa she loves.

Referred to as Hong Kong's answer to "Misery", innocent-looking Bo-Bo Fung is an overprotective mother/nurse who is bent on revenge at all costs after the death of her son at the hands of policeman Lau Ching-Wan. Veronica Yip stars as a gambling addict who enlists Lau to protect her from loan sharks, and eventually returns the favor in order for him to survive Nurse Lam's relentless assault.

Sullen insurance agent Maggie Cheung reluctantly rescues a triad goon suffering from hatchet wounds (Roy Cheung), and thus begins their slow-burn romance.

Nightingale Wong is a super heroine who looses her memory when her triad boss father is murdered. She is taken in by a kindly prostitute, and eventually takes revenge.

Developer Ms. Cheung (Carol 'Do Do' Cheng) yearns for a quieter life in Hong Kong and moves to the countryside, getting herself caught in a showdown between a gang of jewel thieves and two police officers along the way. While Ms. Cheung survives the ordeal, the thieves' injured getaway driver (Siu-Chun To) sneaks into Cheung's moving van and escapes to the countryside, into Cheung's new home. As Cheung settles down into her new environment, she befriends Pak-Lam (Pak Lam Cheng), a skillful and inquisitive little boy who lives in the village. While Pak-Lam helps Cheung tend to her house, he encounters the injured thief. After a brief exchange, Pak-Lam realizes the thief has a harmless and non-aggressive attitude and decides to shelter him in his secret makeshift hideout, not knowing his new friend has in his possession a bag of stolen jewels, in which both the police and the gangsters are searching for.

A young couple separates under pressure from vicious Triad gangsters – she becomes a mobster's unwilling moll, and he travels abroad to work as an assassin. But their love stays strong, and when the two are reunited, their rekindled emotions lead them into extreme danger.

Lung and Wong are buddies in their ferocious youth. Lung fled from his motherland to escape a death penalty. Lung returns after five years and runs into Wong who becomes a priest of an orphanage.

Liu and Keung are competent constables and good partners. But Keung is fired just because of a minor mistake. Gradually falling into a financial crisis, Keung is forced to commit crimes. Liu wants to help but he himself is trapped and has to face internal investigations. As his young brother Raymond is assigned to arrest Keung's gang, Liu is put in a dilemma. Finally, Keung promises Liu he'll give himself up. But the gang won't let them stay alive for long.

The Suzie in the title refers to The World Of Suzy Wong, a great novel by British author Richard Mason which was made into a terrible Hollywood movie in 1960. Like Suzy, Shu Mei goes to work in a bar in Wanchai around the late 1950s, where sailors and foreign money are plentiful. But there isn't much similarity beyond this.
