Joaquín se muda a un nuevo apartamento y se enamora de su vecina Raquel. Pasan tres meses y Joaquín no se atreve a hablarle aún, se conforma con escucharla tocar el violín todos los días a la misma hora. Es Diciembre y finalmente Joaquín decide dejarle una carta bajo su puerta invitándola a cenar, pero Raquel ha muerto dos meses atrás.
