Una joven pareja desesperada por tener un hijo comienza el tratamiento en las instalaciones apartadas de un médico de renombre. Danny y Marie tienen esperanzas cuando se acepta su última solicitud para el exclusivo "Instituto de Tierras". Son mimados mientras se adaptan a su régimen terapéutico que incluye los "remedios homeopáticos" exclusivos de los médicos. In twenty scenes the authors tell the story of a city lost in the middle of a desert and run by three thugs; in Mahagonny food, sex, gambling and violence rule supreme.
