Historia
Thean-jeen is one of the most prolific and acclaimed writer-directors and showrunners working in the Singapore independent production industry today, having created, executive-produced, written and directed over 150 hours of film and television content in the span of his career. His past work includes the award-winning AlterAsians and The Singapore Short Story Project as well as four seasons of Code Of Law. Recent projects – as executive producer, writer and director – include The Bridge for Viu Malaysia/HBO Asia as well as Divided (分裂) and Derek for MediaCorp Toggle. Feature films he has written and directed include the Malaysia-Singapore co-production Homecoming 笑着回家, Bring Back The Dead招魂 as well as The Big Day简单的婚礼.

Winnie embarks on a journey to solve the mystery, unlocking a secret deep within Derek's past... one that gives her an insight into how he went from an ordinary man to extraordinary killer.

Taiwanese successful actuary Chung Wen Kai lives a life free of any unnecessary risks, or calculated ones if any. Wen Kai plans to pay Sandra, his rich girlfriend who has been away in Singapore for a business trip, a surprise visit on Valentine’s Day. Wen Kai also plans to propose to Sandra. What Wen Kai did not plan for was to have lost the diamond ring at the airport. Wen Kai also did not plan to meet Haney Goh, whom Wen Kai will “partner” reluctantly in order to buy a new diamond ring for Sandra at couple-only 50% Valentine’s Day special discount at a jewellery shop in Singapore. While stepping out of the jewellery shop, the “couple” are robbed and Wen Kai loses all his valuables including a phone which Haney took to throw at the robbers. Feeling sorry for Wen Kai, Haney decides to help Wen Kai in completing his goal to propose to Sandra.
