At the end of 2019 the ensemble, eleven musicians in total including the string quartet In Praise of Folly, flautist Emma Halnan and French Horn player Sam Morris, took the music on the road on a tour that would play to sold out venues across Europe, concluding with another two amazing nights at the Royal Albert Hall. With Friends at St David's joins the tour in Cardiff at a venue the band had last played some twenty years earlier. Over two hours of beautifully crafted music and powerful performance, the film presents the full set, including songs from across the last thirty years of the band's repertoire.

Filmed at the Marillion Weekend, Holland 2011. Friday night saw the band performing their classic 1991 album "Holidays In Eden", Saturday night dubbed "A-Z" with the band playing an alphabetical set, and Sunday night dubbed "The Glow Must Go On", where the audience (armed with glow sticks) would decide what the band would play next given a choice between any two songs.

This live performance was filmed on the 18 September 2004 at the 'German Space Day' at Cologne-Bonn Airport.

On 22 September 2007, I played a solo show at the Union Chapel in Islington, London. If you were there, thanks for coming - it was a great night among many great nights. It was about as relaxed as I have ever felt on a stage and I'm indebted to all who came.

A 2 Disc 3 concert live DVD - filmed at the 2007 Marillion Convention titled. It features the whole of 'This Strange Engine' performed live, plus the Saturday and Sunday nights as released on the live CD's 'Friends' and 'Family'.

Filmed over the final 2 nights of the Somewhere Else album tour at the London Forum in June 2007. Directed and edited by Tim Sidwell (Bootleg Butlins, Something Else), the soundtrack is presented in in both stereo and 5.1 surround sound, mixed by Michael Hunter.

For the Saturday night performance from Marillion Weekend 2005, the band decided to choose their favourite "up-tempo" songs to create a high-energy party vibe for the night. Slower more atmospheric songs were then selected to end the Weekend on the Sunday night, creating a completely different show and feel. Mixed by Dave Meegan and available on audio downloads as Smoke and Mirrors, the 2 live shows included on Bootleg Butlins were filmed using only 3 cameras. This release document's Steve Hogarth's joining Marillion, following the band during the release year of Seasons End. The original VHS release featured a selection of live tracks recorded at De Montfort Hall in Leicester on 24th April 1990. This original footage has been included as a Bonus Feature on the extended DVD edition, which now includes the Leicester concert in its entirety.
