Donny Dubrow tiene un tienda de objetos de segunda mano que no va demasiado bien; pero, al menos, le sirve para reunir a los amigos y jugar al póker de vez en cuando. A Bobby, el chico de los recados, lo mantiene a su lado más por cariño paternal que por auténtica necesidad. Un buen dia, cuando Donny se da cuenta de que le ha vendido a un cliente, por un precio irrisorio, una moneda con la figura de un búfalo americano, decide no sólo recuperarla, sino también desplumar completamente al tipo. Su cómplice será Bobby, y el robo, casi un rito de iniciación para el muchacho. Pero todo dará un giro inesperado cuando entre en escena Teach amigo y compañero de timba de Donny.

Angela, una niña de 10 años, ve visiones del demonio en las que éste se intenta llevar a su herman pequeña Ellie, de apenas 6 años de edad. Angela cree que todo es causa de la enfermedad mental de su madre, así que decide purificar a su familia de sus pecados... Un título de cine independiente premiado en varios festivales.

Sam has a problem with his roommates: they are disgusting, and don't seem to share his views on responsibility, privacy, and basic hygine. Such is his discomfort with his living arrangements that he agrees to share the occupancy of another flat: he gets two nights a week, the owner (a sleazy frat-boy yuppie named Brian, soon to be married) and Ellen (a would-be painter seeking relief from her boring marriage) each get their seperate nights in the flat. Things go extremely well until Sam and Brian swap nights without telling Ellen, who attributes the "nice" things that happen around the place to the slob Brian, while berating the responsible Sam for his hedonistic lifestyle.

The war in the South Pacific, a country doctor in Colorado, victims of industrial pollution in a Japanese village — all were captured in unforgettable photographs by the legendary W. Eugene Smith. This program showcases over 600 of Smith’s stunning photographs and includes a dramatic recreation in which actor Peter Riegert (Crossing Delancey, Local Hero) portrays the artist using dialogue take from Smith’s diaries and letters. Interwoven through the program are archival footage and interviews with family and friends of this brilliant, complicated man, whose work developed from twin themes of common humanity and social responsibility.

Czech refugee Krystyna travels to New York in search of her actress idol and fellow expatriate, Anna. After her own arrival in the Big Apple, Anna finds that celebrity often doesn't travel well, and she must go through a battery of humiliating auditions to try and get work in her adopted land. But when Krystyna and Anna finally meet, they provide a support structure for each other.
