Tribunal de Saint Omer. La joven novelista Rama asiste al juicio de Laurence Coly, una joven acusada de matar a su hija de 15 meses al abandonarla a la subida de la marea en una playa del norte de Francia. Pero a medida que avanza el juicio, las palabras de la acusada y los testimonios de los testigos harán tambalear las convicciones de Rama y pondrán en duda el propio juicio.
Set Dresser
Victor, in his early 20s, works at the town hall and lives with his girlfriend Charlotte, who is expecting their first child. When an incident happens at the nearby nuclear power plant, he and his high school friends are forced to confine themselves inside a farmhouse, whereas they should have evacuated the area. As the rain is threatening, they are keeping an eye out for the radioactive cloud. The next 24 hours will be crucial.
Set Decoration
An abandoned seaside resort. The shooting for a fantasy film about the end of an era wraps up. Two women, both members of the film crew, one an actrice, the other a director, Apocalypse and Joy, are on the verge of concluding their love affair.
Production Design
There is a special brigade dedicated to camera thefts in Lisbon. Few cameras are found, although sometimes tapes are thrown in the gutter like lost memories. Policemen watch these tapes hoping to find clues in this flow of touristic and intimate video recordings. One image leads the investigation to France.
