Una perfumista tiene siete días para descifrar la fórmula de un perfume único propiedad de un Conde irlandés. Decidida a lograrlo, se traslada a Irlanda y se presenta ante el joven y apuesto Conde como una reportera que prepara un reportaje sobre la familia. El Conde, a quien su padre quiere unir en matrimonio con una de las familias más ricas del condado, siente verdadero interés por la reportera.
