Historia
Jiiva is an Indian film actor who predominantly appears in Tamil films. Son of film producer R. B. Choudary, he started his career as a child actor in his father's films in 1996. He performed his first lead role in the 2003 romantic film Aasai Aasaiyai, before starring in Raam (2005), for which he won the Best Actor Award at the Cyprus International Film Festival. In his subsequent films, he has taken on roles of various types such as a stuntman in Dishyum (2006), a slum dweller in E (2006) and a psychopath in Kattradhu Thamizh (2007).
On 21 November 2007, Jiiva married his childhood friend Supriya in New Delhi.[27] Supriya is a MBA graduate and an interior designer by profession. The two first met in 1994 when he was studying in a school in T Nagar.[28] They have a son named Sparsh born in 2010.

When his brother marries Nandhini, he gets to meet Nandhini's younger sister Chandrika and wishes to marry her. When he approaches his family for a chance, everyone talks very frankly of his unemployed status which rankles him and he leaves his house to prove himself. With the support of Nallathambi, he establishes a tutorial for Class 10 students and despite early setbacks makes it work, while also convincing Chandrika, who eventually reciprocates his love. However despite all this, Chandrika's father is against her marriage with Bhaskaran for a reason which is revealed in the end.

The film begins at a journey in train where Paari (Jeeva) looks back at everything. Cut to the beginning, one remote village in Ramanathapuram. Paari is a do-gooder helping everyone in need. A magnanimous man, he gives anything and everything to others if they ask for. Promising his dad (Azhagan Perumal) to earn more, Paari sets out to Chennai. But he faces more challenges. He meets a young girl Madhi (Poonam Bajwa) and falls in love with her. Some goons also cause trouble for Paari. Meanwhile, Sivamani (J D Chakravarthy), the dreaded but sophisticated don of the city is getting ready to marry Madhu. When the two stories meet, chaos ensue, it is now up to Paari and Sivamani to sort it out.
