Art, Artem, Artemiy or Artemy Troitsky (Russian: Арте́мий Тро́ицкий, born 16 June 1955 in Yaroslavl) is a Russian journalist, music critic, concert promoter, radio host, and academic who has lectured on music journalism at Moscow State University. He was born in Yaroslavl, then in the Soviet Union. In 1988 he was described in The New York Times as "the leading Soviet rock critic" as one of the foremost propagandists of rock music in the USSR.
The film takes place in the late 90s. The main character undertakes to organize a competition for young musicians. Who should become the winner of the competition, decided in advance. The performances are attended by unknown musicians representing a variety of musical genres and trends. They have different views on both life and music. Of course, the competition does not go as planned.

Documentary for Finnish television about Spring Rhythms ("Весенние ритмы") — one of the first official rock festivals in USSR. It took place in Tbilisi, from 8 to 16 March of 1980. The festival was organised by famous music journalist Artemiy Troitskiy with the cooperation of Georgian government. The "Аквариум" band was taken off scene because of their provocative conduct. In 1981 the official tracklist album was released.
