Historia

Born in 1996. She is a Documentarian and a Film Editor. Her directorial and film editorial works include Yanbu (2015), a short documentary film about her unconventional family exploring their scattered memories of growing up in Saudi Arabia and the Philippines; Kalumaran (2016), a documentary film about the Lumad, a group of indigenous people from the Southern Philippines, and their protest against militarization, community attacks, and plundering of ancestral land filmed during the Aquino administration; and Spring by the Sea (2019), a feature-length documentary film about her family's memories of growing up in the Middle East, exploring their personal diasporic narrative and redefining the idealization of a homeland.
