Se dice que se dedica a un oficio misterioso y terrible del que nadie quiere hablar: es un acabador, un hombre que ayuda a morir. Cuentan que se desplaza por los valles aferrado al cuerpo de Anchel, su fiel servidor, y que ambos comparten el secreto de una labor tan antigua como la vida, tan terrible como la misma muerte. Armugán es el ángel del abismo al que nadie desea encomendarse, pero resulta necesario cuando la decadencia arrasa la fantasía de eternidad con que los hombres esconden la implacable realidad. Sin embargo, no mata, no es un asesino. Posee una radical sabiduría que le permite ayudar a desprenderse del mayor de los sufrimientos: el miedo a morir.

Alicia is going to visit her traditional family for Christmas, and plans on introducing them to her English girlfriend at the same time. On their way to the village, Alicia confesses that she hasn't told her parents about her homosexuality and that her parents think she has a boyfriend. Her girlfriend gets very annoyed and wants to go back home, but then they meet Dirk, a young German guy who has arrived to Spain by hitchhiking. This twist of fate will make them change their minds at the last minute.
