En el año 2001, el aclamado violinista Julian Rachlin fundó un festival de música de cámara en Dubrovnik. Introdujo un nuevo y exitoso concepto de reunir a algunos de los músicos más famosos del mundo y dejarles tocar la música que personalmente disfrutan.
