Las mujeres de la familia Maureira cuentan su experiencia de búsqueda de 5 de sus hombres a lo largo de Chile, luego de su detención por la policía, a pocos días del golpe militar de 1973. Luego de 6 años de búsqueda encontraron sus cadáveres enterrados en una mina de cal, muy cerca de sus casas, en Lonquén, una localidad cercana a Santiago de Chile. Era la primera vez que se comprobaba que un desaparecido había sido detenido y asesinado por organismos del estado, refutando la falsedad de todas las informaciones oficiales.
