Historia

Austin Kimmell (b. 1998) has been invested in the animated medium for as long as he can remember, seeking out the work of old and new masters alike. Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, his hard work and talent landed him at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, under the guidance of professors such as Jake Fried, Hayley Morris and Javier Barboza. His work combines the craftsmanship and style of yesteryear’s cartoonists with a cinematic presentation, dark sense of humor and eccentric subject matter that has provoked commentary from film festivals and industry professionals across the country. Currently at work on his graduation film, Austin works out of Boston, Massachusetts and is awaiting the release of his first illustrated book for children.
