For he keeps finding Gérard on his way and his efforts are constantly thwarted by his half-brother. Will Gérard prevent François from becoming the worthy successor to their father or will the two young men decide to join forces? That is the question.

Arsenio Lupin is an audacious Parisian thief who mocks the police, especially Inspector Ganimard, but turns over most of his ill-gotten gains to charity. One night, he attends a party disguised as a newspaper writer who also mocks Ganimard; the next morning, the host's wife and a male guest are found murdered, and Ganimard arrives to solve the crime. A Mexican version of the Arsene Lupin character, with Sherlock Holmes tossed in as a cameo at the end.

A woman and a man vying for a woman's affection: the usual love trio? Not quite so since the belle in question is Lorraine de Grissac, a very wealthy and alluring society woman, while one of the two rivals is none other than Arsène Lupin, the notorious jewel thief everybody thought dead, now living under the assumed name of René Farrand. As for the other suitor he is an American, a former F.B.I. sleuth turned private eye by the name of Steve Emerson. Steve not only suspects Farrand of being Lupin but when someone attempts to steal a precious emerald necklace from Lorraine's uncle, Count de Brissac, he is persuaded Lupin is the culprit. Is Emerson right or wrong? Which of the two men will win over Lorraine's heart?

Arsène Lupin decides to run a detective agency in addition to being a gentleman thief. As a detective he happens to cooperate with police in order to unveil the criminal activities of a villain. When he succeeds the villain returns the favour. The unmasked Arsène Lupin manages to escape with the villain's gangster moll as his new companion.

Después del robo perpetrado en la mansión del millonario Gourney-Martin (Tully Marshall), el detective Guerchard (Lionel Barrymore) sospecha que el culpable es el famoso Lupin. En una fiesta, en la que coinciden Guerchard y Lupin, éste decide actuar: un corte abrupto de la electricidad y el robo de varios invitados, que sólo se dan cuenta cuando vuelve la luz. Gourney-Martin invita a su residencia campestre a Charmerace y a Sonia (Karen Morley), que, en realidad es una ladronzuela que trata de rehabilitarse colaborando con Guerchard.

Living quietly under the assumed name Paul Sernine, reformed gentleman crook Arsene Lupin is summoned to protect his invalid, wealthy friend Henry Forbes.

Arsène Lupin, alias the Duke of Charmence, is a clever gentleman burglar. Detective Guerchard has vowed to bring Lupin to justice. Given a chance to escape when caught with the goods, Lupin gives up his freedom for the love of a good woman.

Turning Over a New Leaf: The thieves' den. The gang drinking and playing cards. The gentleman burglar arrives. Announces his coming wedding. Apprises them of his decision to quit his life of crime. He bids them good-bye and departs. Engaged to Another: Reception hall of the girl's home. A rival lover sues for her hand. She informs him of her engagement to another. He leaves her in sadness. Two Years Later: The gentleman burglar returns with his bride to her father's house.
