When journalism major Olivia is encouraged to join a sorority by her shy friend Riley, she senses an opportunity to go undercover and write a story about hazing practices. But she soon discovers there are deadly secrets involved in being part of the sisterhood.

Rudi is in her mid-thirties, in between jobs, lives in a run down East Vancouver apartment, oh and is completely in denial of her mental state. After making the decision to break up with her ex, Dave, a new owner of a bed and breakfast in the middle of nowhere B.C., the decision still haunts her. She takes a road trip to reconcile with him but things take an interesting turn.

'Big Eyes' está basada en el caso real de Margaret y Walter Keane. La historia gira alrededor del enorme éxito, durante los años 50 y 60 del siglo pasado, de las reproducciones de los cuadros de niños con grandes ojos, creados por ella pero firmados en su momento por su marido, Walter, supuestamente porque él tenía una gran facilidad para el marketing, consiguiendo así ampliar la popularidad de la obra de su esposa.
