Historia

Margaret Tyzack fue una actriz inglesa de teatro, cine y televisión. Egresada del Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, ha recibido diversos reconocimientos en el ámbito teatral, entre ellos el Premio Laurence Olivier en la categoría actriz del año en un revival en 1981 por su rol en ¿Quién teme a Virginia Woolf? en el Royal National Theatre de Londres y a la mejor actriz por su rol de Mrs St. Maugham en la obra The Chalk Garden estrenada en el Donmar Warehouse de Londres en el año 2009. Además, recibió un Premio Tony a la mejor actriz de una obra de teatro en 1990 por su papel antagónico en Lettice and Lovage, que se montó en Londres como en Broadway. En el ámbito de la televisión, fue conocida por participar en los dramas de la BBC Winifred in The Forsyte Saga (1967), y Antonia in I, Claudius (1976). Caught by slave traders, they are end up at an auction from which only Harris can attempt to rescue them.
