Metrópolis es una historia acerca de lo importantes que son las emociones y la forma en que hacen diferentes a los seres humanos de cualquier otra cosa. La película sigue a un joven y su tío a través de un futuro lejano donde los humanos y los robots viven juntos aunque, lamentablemente, no en armonía. La trama comienza a desarrollarse cuando el chico conoce a una robot llamada Tima y se meten en todo tipo de problemas.

Adaptación animada del clásico de Hans Christian Andersen. Se enmarca dentro de la serie "Sekai Meisaku Douwa" que realizó la Toei entre los años 1977 y 1982, y que constaba de cinco peliculas a una por año, siendo la del año 1978 la que nos abarca, y correspondiendo las otras cuatro a Los Cisnes Salvajes "Hakuchou no Ouji" (1977); Anya la muchacha de la Nieve “Mori wa Ikiteiru” (1980); El Lago de los Cisnes "Hakuchou no Mizuumi" (1981); y Aladino y su Mundo Maravilloso “Aladdin to Mahou No Lamp”.
Art Direction
Scamper is a little penguin who loves wandering around the Artic where he lives with his parents. Unfortunately his little adventures tend to get he, and his friend Snowflake into trouble, especially when he disobeys his father and goes exploring with seagulls who want to eat him flying above, and men and dogs on the ground with them. One day the adventure goes too far and they float out to sea, only to be caught by men who want to sell them to the zoo. Scamper, Snowflake and their new friend, a macaroni penguin named Louie, must escape and get back to their families to warn them.
Art Direction
The hero of Wansa-kun was Wansa, a husky puppy who is sold for a pittance, then escapes, and spends much time looking for his mother. During his adventures on the street he meets friends, enemies and his beloved girlfriend. This OVA reunites the complete series aired on TV.
