La nueva estudiante Cady Heron es bienvenida a la cima de la cadena social por el elitista grupo de chicas populares llamado "Las Plásticas", gobernado por la intrigante abeja reina Regina George y sus secuaces Gretchen y Karen. Sin embargo, cuando Cady comete el grave error de enamorarse del ex novio de Regina, Aaron Samuels, se encuentra en el punto de mira de Regina. Perhaps a better title for The Best of Ernie and Bert would be Visits with Ernie and Bert, since the daunting prospect of culling the choicest episodes from more than three decades of Sesame Street is subjective at best. Only eight skits are included in this 30-minute program, which may result in viewer disappointment as countless "favorites" have been omitted.

Sing Along is a 1987 Sesame Street video compilation in the "My Sesame Street Home Video" series. In it, Big Bird, Hoots the Owl, Bob, Gordon, Maria, David and the kids go to the roof of the 123 Sesame Street building to have a sing-along. They close the sing-along with a show-stopping finale, "What's the Name of That Song?" Meanwhile, Biff and Sully are up on the roof trying to fix a TV set, but every time it gets fixed, something goes wrong, causing the set to be broken again.
