The medium that gives voice to those who have no voice is radio. In northern Iraq, seven young journalists, Muslims, Christians and Yezidis, are giving their microphones to those who want peace. They work for Radio Al-Salam, a station free from political and religious influences. In total freedom, voices are raised on the airwaves and bring back the link within a nation.

Leila Mustapha is Kurdish and Syrian. Her battle was Raqqa, the former capital of the Islamic State with 300,000 inhabitants, reduced to a field of ruin after the war. Without any Thai identity papers, she left her mountains to find work in Bangkok. 34 years old Juliet lives happily with her husband and her four children in the Philippines. A grown-up orphan in Cebu’s trash dump site, she did everything to make her dreams become a reality. She is currently a primary school teacher. Filmed on two continents, it contains numerous interviews with former colleagues, families, current medical researchers, and others, all who express the importance of Jerome Lejeune in both the history of medicine and the defense of the dignity of human life.
