Mi abuelo fue un chef de renombre y creó el Motel, el restaurante donde crecí. Mi padre y mis hermanos han continuado con su legado pero yo no me he dedicado a la cocina. En los archivos familiares encuentro las películas de 8mm de mi abuelo, donde descubro la figura de mi abuela, que siempre ha sido un personaje anónimo para mí. A través de conversaciones con mis padres y material de archivo indago sobre la historia familiar y nuestra relación con la cocina.

He uses the footage of films of different genres, establishing relationships between them regarding the construction of the other antagonist: the savage, the wild woman, nature, the untamed. The montage plays with characters that make clear some oppositions (typical / topical) to which the image is repeated when building that other character.

Instalación que recupera vídeos caseros de Youtube para hablar sobre experiencias de exhibición de la intimidad en la web. Una tendencia por la cual enseñamos nuestras vidas, franqueando el límite entre lo público y privado, lo interior y lo exterior, en un nuevo espacio donde nuestras vivencias cobran existencia. Vivencias privadas pero mediadas por la pantalla "pública", que opera como una especie de espejo en el cual se contemplan miles de personas y a través del cual replican conductas, formas, poses, hábitos. Experiencias atravesadas por un elemento de contagio por el que se imitan formas de (auto)representación generando copias incontables de lo mismo.
